We are a soul, a presence, a heart, a life, a story. We are our choices. AI is none of these things.This is, I think, the real koan of AI." That's something that got me thinking. There is this ongoing conversation of Gen AI vs humans in work spaces. AI has helped me keep my curiosity going on things I want to learn. But I still want to get my hands messy with paint or read poetry. Daniel's post was indeed a meditation. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with you that whilst AI has helped me explore more topics, move faster and get more done, that mode of being shouldn't crowd out other things that aren't about skimming, or probabilisitic word prediction. The success of AI can remind us of the power and importance of things that are inefficient, slow, unmediated and full of friction.
